Cybersecurity consultants in San Francisco

Most breaches at businesses this size are not sophisticated. They are an unpatched service, a reused password, or a permission nobody removed when someone left.

Talk to Ryan See everything we do

What the work involves

  • Security audits against how your business actually operates
  • Penetration testing with a report ordered by real risk, not raw severity
  • Hardening of infrastructure, access control and internal permissions
  • Ongoing monitoring, and a plan for the day something does happen

When businesses get in touch

  • A client or insurer is asking security questions you cannot answer
  • Staff have left and nobody is certain their access was revoked
  • You handle customer data and have never had it independently checked
  • You need a specific certification and do not know the gap

Questions we get asked

What is the difference between an audit and a penetration test?

An audit reviews how things are configured and governed. A penetration test attacks the system to find what actually gets through. Most businesses need the audit first. A pen test on unreviewed infrastructure just produces a long, expensive list.

Will testing disrupt our systems?

Scope and timing are agreed in writing beforehand, including what is explicitly off-limits. Anything with a real risk of disruption runs against staging or out of hours.

Do you help fix what you find, or just report it?

Both. A report with no remediation is a list of problems you now provably knew about, which is worse than not having looked.
